Over the last few years this seems to have taken off in a big way. There are people out again today on the beach having what looks like a fantastic time. I’m still thinking about having some lessons or perhaps kit boarding might be an easier way to get to grips with the kite control. There are a number of schools in the area (no idea if they are any good!). Pre-requisites seem to you must be able to swim. I would suggest you may have to be able to swim VERY well.
Wetsuit and clothes seem like a must, but there are plenty of people around that hire them. So that could be my challenge for next year. Kite surf around Caridigan Island without anyone calling out the RNLI crew.
